BABY SWEATER PLUS

I’ve always wanted to try crocheting a sweater for babies.

A little lady celebrates her 3rd birthday this week and why not make a crocheted gift for her? I went to YouTube to see what free patterns I could find, and I came across a gorgeous sweater tutorial from Maria Magdalena by Mis bellos proyectos found HERE.

The pattern (in Spanish only) looked very simple to follow and I am absolutely in love with my result. I used a 5 mm crochet hook and 1.5 skeins of Woolly Hugs CLOUD by Veronika Hug.

I am LOVING Woolly Hugs new yarn CLOUD by Veronika. It is a super slight yarn that is 94% new wool and 6% polyamide and available in some lovely colors. The gradient yarn is so unique and it works up beautifully!

At the same time my new order of garment tags by Dortex Textiletiketten has arrived!!! They will add such a gorgeous touch to my crocheted creations, aren’t they beautiful?

And now, I am delighted to show you this cute amigurumi bunny matching with this sweater. I got the bunny pattern from Lanukas. Only the ears are a bit longer than the original pattern. It's amazing being able to crochet such unique gifts for our loved ones, right?
