PLANNED COLOR POOLING

Today I want to tell you about some super cool crochet projects with the planned color pooling technique.

Here you need some simple stitches to manipulate variegated yarn into a plaid or check pattern.

The yarns that I used are Woolly Hugs PLAN and POOL by Veronika Hug.

These 2 yarns were such a joy to work with – soft and pretty with bright punches of color.

Just watch Veronika’s video tutorial HERE and you’ll be color pooling all the things.

And for English speakers I recommend a nice video tutorial by Stylecraft Yarns HERE.

I’ve made a lot of crochet items with this beautiful tecnique.

The Easy-Pooling Tank Top worked with PLAN (Maschenwelt Magazine, issue 1/2019).

The French-Friend Cape worked with POOL (Maschenwelt Magazine, issue 4/2019).

These adorable seat cushions worked with POOL, as well (Anna Magazine, issue 6/2019).

And a super easy beanie worked with PLAN (free pattern on Ravelry HERE).

My last planned color pooling project was this adorable summer beach bag worked with POOL.

There are so many more things you can do once you understand the basics of planned color pooling and add a little math into the mix.

Take the time to learn this fantastic technique and crochet something magical! meeCrochet
