My charity projects
There are so many benefits to donating crochet work to charity - now I use my talent to give back to the community. Aside from helping others in need, it also gives me as a crocheter a chance to be more involved by discovering new volunteer opportunities.

Here I present a little update of my current charity activities.
A Scarf for Life 2020

This year I support the German charity campaign 'Ein Schal für's Leben (= a scarf for life) hosted by Save the Children, Brigitte Magazine and LANA GROSSA.
This campaign is aimed at Syrian refugee children and for every scarf 10, - € will be donated to Save the Children!

For this charity project I decided to crochet the scarf, yes CROCHET!!! People are invited to knit the scarf, but I decided to crochet it and here some pics for you.

Charity for the homeless
During the winter season 2019/2020 we will collect donations of
handmade (knitted/crocheted/sewn) scarves, hats, mittens,
amigurumis, baby shoes, etc. for the homeless in Munich.
Together with KulturVERSTRICKUNGEN e. V., Caritas Region München
and Münchner Stadtbibliothek we will meet us every 2 weeks.
Join us for some hours of knitting and crocheting simple projects to
those in need!
We have a lot of needles, hooks and yarn for you.
What if you don’t know how to knit/crochet? No problem, we can
teach you!
And we would be delighted to receive yarn/wool donations or items
made on your own time.
We look forward to meeting you!
Here some impressions for you!
